Jewellery exists both on and off the body. ‘Reflex’ focuses on the journey between these two states and injects surprise into the moment a piece is lifted to be worn.

My work explores the potential of mechanisms to animate objects by imparting motion where it is not expected and by bringing playfulness and life to conventionally static jewellery forms.

I aim to create an unexpected moment of delight for the wearer or simply put a smile on their face.
